⚠️ Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. All your data will be removed according to the timeline below.
You can request deletion of your DealHound account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains the steps, what data is deleted or retained, and expected timelines.
📱 Delete from the App (Recommended)
✅ Fastest method: Delete your account instantly from the DealHound app.

Open the DealHound app and go to Settings (tap the menu icon)

Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"

Confirm by tapping "Delete Permanently" in the confirmation dialog

Your account and all personal data will be deleted immediately and you will be signed out
📧 Alternative: Request via Email
If you cannot access the app or prefer email, you can request deletion by contacting us:

From your account email, send a request to support@dealhound.app with the subject “Account Deletion Request”

Include: your full name (optional), the email associated with your account, and a brief statement that you want your account and personal data deleted

We'll verify ownership via a reply to your account email and process your request within 30 days

- •Account profile (name, email, identifiers)
- •Saved deals, preferences, notification tokens
- •In-app messages with businesses
- •Device associations for notifications
⏱️ Temporarily Retained
- •Security logs: up to 90 days
- •Backups: 30–90 days (rotation)
- •Anonymous analytics: up to 24 months
- •Legal records: as required by law

Immediate: Your account and personal data are deleted instantly when you confirm deletion in the app.

- ✓Sign-in is disabled; your profile and saved content are removed
- ✓You will no longer receive notifications or nearby deal alerts
- ✓You can create a new DealHound account anytime using the same or a different email
